Courvoisier’s campaign to find the UK’s future entrepreneurial stars is in full swing.

The cognac giant is scouring the length and breadth of the United Kingdom looking for 2009’s 500 future stars to join the network created by the competition last year.

Courvoisier is searching for people who are driven by an unassuming passion for perfection and to celebrate the personal achievement of young individuals. Applicants are able to submit themselves for consideration or can be nominated by a friend online at www.cvtf500.com.

Applications will be deliberated over be a panel of judges including internet entrepreneur Jamie Murray-Wells, pay-per-click advertising pioneer Seb Bishop and IGA founder Ed Bartlett.

Candidates who run their own business must have been doing so for a minimum of one year and employ at least two members of staff, and career people must have been working for two years or more in their chosen industry.

The Future 500 covers 10 different business categories, including business, media, science and innovation and public life. Last year’s overall category winners, touted as ‘Ones to watch’, include Vincent McKevitt, who won the food group, and Ryan Notz who secured his one to watch status in the business category.

Nominations close 18th September 2008.
