Japan Residential Investment Company (JRIC) has been advised on its £100m admission by Lawrence Graham LLP, the London-based law firm.

Trading in the company’s shares on AIM began on October 13, and the company’s backers are expecting the float to be very well received.

Corporate finance partner Nick Heather led the Lawrence Graham team advising JRIC and was assisted by Gillian McCarthy and John Reed.

Heather said: “JRIC has been very well received. This deal rounds off a highly successful month for our AIM funds practice - we have seen Pacific Alliance Asia Opportunity Fund Limited raise $275 million on its floatation and Dolphin Capital Investors Limited raise £202 million on a secondary issue.”

Ernst & Young LLP acted as nominated adviser to JRIC and Fairfax I.S. Limited was broker.

Ozannes provided legal advice in Guernsey where JRIC are based.
