Boomerang the Welsh independent television production company has successfully floated on AIM with a market capitalisation of £14m.
The Cardiff-based company creates a wide-range of programmes, producing over 500 hours of television and radio content per year for broadcasters such as S4C, Channel 4, BBC Wales, ITV Wales, Sky and Discovery.
It operates across the whole spectrum of creative industry activities including programme productions, post production services, television facilities and talent management.
The company was advised on the AIM deal by Jonathan King the head of corporate finance at law firm Osborne Clarke.
He said: “We're delighted to help Boomerang with its successful float in what are currently challenging market conditions.
“This is testament to the strength of their business and the dedication of the management team during the process.
“Boomerang is looking to grow its independent TV production group through future acquisitions. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with the company over the coming years as it seeks to implement this growth strategy.”
The nominated adviser and broker to Boomerang was Evolution Securities.
