WHY SHOULD I CARE?

Because we’ll help you make more from your website. We’ll talk to you about what you want to achieve and build a website to those objectives, not ours, and then we’ll support you by marketing it and making any changes you might need.

WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ME THAT I CAN’T DO MYSELF?

We’re not the first level of web design. You can get a student to make you a website for £100 but you’ll need to spend more when you get into shopping carts, search engines and trying to collect information.

WHAT MISTAKES WILL YOU PREVENT ME MAKING?

We’ll stop you blowing your money on a fancy Flash website which takes ages to load, which many people can’t see and which doesn’t give you feedback. Too many websites are just expensive online brochures when the internet is all about communication. We’ll bin your over-designed, over-complicated multimedia site and give you a database HTML site, which still looks good but lets you do so much more – and then we’ll help you market it.

HOW ELSE WILL YOU SAVE ME MONEY?

The way we’ll build your site will provide you with more statistical analysis of how your customers interact and buy from you and we’ll help you market yourself accordingly. Through newsletters and special offers, for example. We’ll also look after your website as you grow. For instance, we’ll recommend a shopping cart provider when you outgrow our in-house offering and ensure it integrates with your accountancy software.

DO YOU SPECIALISE IN ANY PARTICULAR SECTORS?

We do a lot of work with retail, restaurants and hotels but the nuts and bolts tend to be the same and we feel we’ve got a broad spectrum of skills.

The Print Works – www.theprintworks.com – is an entertainment complex in the centre of Manchester containing shops, restaurants, bars, gyms and a casino. They came to us about a year ago with a basic site that didn’t have any data capture features or the ability to highlight its clients. The new site showcases all of the clients via microsites, keeps visitors up-to-date with news and events and now has a reputation as being a useful resource to find out what’s happening. Traffic has increased 100%, the number of newsletter subscribers has doubled and The Print Works now sells profiles on its website as an integral part of its offering.
