2009 Young Guns Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani scooped the Highly Commended award at the Nectar Small Business Awards 2011, in recognition of the continued success of A Suit That Fits.
Although the company missed out on the top accolade of Small Business of the Year, which went to children’s wallpaper company Walltastic, the judges created the Highly Commended category to recognise the company’s achievements.
Amongst the panel of judges was Karren Brady, star of The Apprentice, who spoke of her admiration for the burgeoning business.
Brady said of the award: “A Suit That Fits was an outstanding candidate in the Small Business of the Year category. Warren and David have worked tirelessly to grow their business, and constantly look out for opportunities to grow their business further.
“The reviews from their customers have reassured us that the suits they produce really stand up to their claims too.”
A Suit That Fits was founded in 2006 and provides bespoke tailoring services over the web at competitive prices, offering customers more than 40 billion suit combinations.
Recently, Bennett and Hathiramani have been expanding their company’s offline presence, with 30 locations now established across the country and more set to appear in the coming months.
