Accountancy firm Smith & Williamson has launched a new entrepreneurs’ platform to help business owners take advantage of growth opportunities.

The new platform includes a registration facility, a new resource centre, an expanding toolkit for entrepreneurs, an events portal and links to other useful websites.

Guy Rigby, head of entrepreneurs at the accountancy firm, explained that Smith & Williamson is keen to work with businesses of all sizes. “As competing firms are increasingly focused on taking on the Big 4, it’s time to explain the benefits of our approach and shine our light on the wider business community,” he said.

Jeremy Boadle, managing director of tax and business services at Smith & Williamson commented: “Our new platform is timely and will be helpful to growth businesses where, for many, the issue at the top of today’s agenda is the credit crunch and the downturn in the economy.”
