Its product enables solicitors to combine their professional services with an insurance policy to cover the cost of their fees and possible tribunal awards.
The company, established in 2001 by directors Mike White, Barry Davidson, and Mike Turner, has a UK-wide customer base and includes some of the country's leading employment law practices.
The funding, which includes £350,000 from the Merseyside Special Investment Fund (MSIF) as well as additional investment from the company’s directors.
It is the second time that the company has been backed by MSIF.
Mike White, chief executive, said: “The money from MSIF is crucial to our expansion plans.
“We now plan to take on around 35 additional sales staff and base them in some of our existing clients’ practices.
