Angels’ Den is aiming to provide a service whereby business angels and entrepreneurs can connect online more easily.

The aim of the initiative is to fill the ‘equity-funding gap between the amount of money entrepreneurs want and need’. It hopes to compliment the services already offered by existing business angel groups by facilitating deals with a value of up to £500,000.

Bill Morrow, joint managing director of Angels’ Den, which claims to be the first fully national online service, commented:

“Angels’ Den is simple and cost-effective. It links people seeking finance with those who want to invest in business. Angels’ Den offers both entrepreneurs and investors a solution to their investment needs, and is the first truly national service in the UK.

“We are committed to making Angels’ Den a recognisable and trustworthy brand through an aggressive marketing programme.”

Entrepreneurs are able to log onto www.angelsden.co.uk and upload a summary of their business concept and plan for £99. Business angels are able to view applications and can request a more detailed business plan. To submit a full business plan costs £400, and if an angel is interested in providing funding, Angels’ Den will set up a meeting.
