Social entrepreneurs have the chance to win funding and support to develop their ventures through an award scheme run by UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs.
The organisation’s Level 2 Awards are aimed at entrepreneurs who have demonstrated innovative solutions to social change in the UK and who need funding and support to develop their projects.
According to UnLtd, judges will be looking for scalable ventures that have been proven to resolve some of the challenges facing society and local communities.
Director of UnLtd Ventures, Jonathan Jenkins, said: “Our bi-annual search for dynamic individuals who are looking to find solutions allows us to support projects that address some of the most pressing problems facing our society. UnLtd’s Level 2 Awards focus on helping these individuals commit more time to increasing their social reach and sustaining this over the longer term.”
The winners will receive up to £15,000 plus a year’s tailored support via an UnLtd Development Manager and UnLtd Connect pro-bono network.
The UnLtd Level 2 Awards are open from now until Friday 24 September with an online application form available at www.unltd.org.uk/level2.
Award winners will be announced in November.
