Online customer analytics software provider Celebrus Technologies has closed a £1m investment deal with international venture capital firm Beringea.
The tag-free software provider feeds data from websites, apps and social media into big data technologies, allowing clients to form advanced customer analytics.
The technology enables clients, such as hair straighteners brand ghd and Directgov to predict with over 90% accuracy whether an online visitor is likely to convert based on their online behaviour.
The latest funding, which follows a £2m investment from Beringea and IS Solutions plc in 2010, will help Celebrus Technologies to further develop big data software with partners such as Teradata Corporation and Microstrategy.
Chairman of Celebrus Technologies, Geoff Shingles CBE said, “We have established relationships with some great partners who take us to market as part of their business solutions, such as SAS, Teradata and Microstrategy.
“We want to continue to invest in our partners and work with them, building joint propositions for the exploding world of big data.
“Together we can help our clients power advanced customer analytics through increased insight and maximise the business value gained from the vast amount of data organisations have access to."
