The Fox’s Lair in Liverpool is open to all privately-owned UK companies regardless of size and profitability.
The event, being organised by corporate fundraisers Fox Capital, is to be held at the University of Liverpool on March, 28-29.
Last time it was held, then in the Isle of Man, 11 of the 14 companies involved were successful in gaining funding, this success has led the organisers to run a sequel.
Justin Martin, a director at Fox Capital, said: “The first Fox’s Lair was a massive success with 11 of the 14 finalist being offered deals.
“Liverpool's vibrant economy and reputation for innovation makes it an excellent choice for the sequel.
“Our focus remains expansion stage companies that are looking for up to £25m in funding to take their businesses to the next level.”
His colleague and fellow director Roy Tilleard, added: “Participants of the first Fox's Lair are now involved in deals worth more than £10m.
“Most of the successful companies came to us with strong turnover growth and a healthy margin.
“Now they're getting the necessary the resources they need to fully capitalise on opportunities. We want to bring the same opportunity to Liverpool.”
