Entrepreneurs have just five days left to apply for the Fast Growth Business Awards (FGBA), which are set to take place in London in October.
The awards, now in their fifth year, recognise impressive young enterprises and the entrepreneurs behind them. Previous winners have gone on to become internationally renowned brands, including Lovefilm, Maximuscle and King of Shaves.
Addison Lee founder John Griffin, Innocent Smoothie entrepreneur Richard Reed and Shortlist Media boss Mike Soutar will be among the judges for this year’s awards, headline-sponsored by NatWest Bank.
This year’s awards cover 12 categories, including Innovative Business of the Year, Online Business of the Year and International Business of the Year, and winners will be recognised in a black tie ceremony.
The final deadline for the Awards is Friday 24.
Ian Wallis, editorial director at Crimson Business, commented:“Running a fast-growth company can be highly risky, exciting and most of all, damn hard work. Despite that and the backdrop of a tough economic climate, there’s no shortage of good entrepreneurs finding gaps in sizeable markets. The Fast Growth Business Awards never disappoints. Entrants consistently showcase the depth and breadth of quality businesses we have here in the UK.”
