Forrester Boyd, the largest accountancy firm in northern Lincolnshire, has expanded its offering and increased its client base following the acquisition of a family firm in Skegness.

The acquisitor, which is headquartered in Grimsby, has paid an undisclosed sum for Michael May Chartered Accountants, whose founding partners have both decided to retire.

Alan Nesbitt, owner of Forrester Boyd, said: “We’re all very excited about this new venture.

“Skegness has a strong commercial sector as well as the obvious tourism offering, and we look forward to working with many of these businesses going forwards.
