Growing Business readers are being asked to discuss their internet engagement, as part of a new study into the online shrewdness of modern British businesses.
The study by The Made Simple Group is backed by Growing Business and sister site Startups, as well as Microsoft Small Business, TaxAssist Accountants, HuddleBuy and Business2012.
The largest survey of its kind, the research seeks to reveal the role of the internet in contemporary business growth. The findings will be delivered by leading entrepreneur Howard Graham at the Business2012 event in March.
Entrepreneurs who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win over £1000 worth of prizes, including an iPad2, Kindle4, an exclusive Huddlebuy marketing bundle, business books, training courses, vouchers and accountancy advice.
Graham, founder of The Made Simple Group – for whom the internet has played a key role – will present a keynote on ‘Leveraging online for business success’ everyday of Business2012. He said:
“Our businesses are fully dependent on having an end to end online presence. From the importance of having an effective ‘online store’ via our website, to capturing interest and making the purchasing processes as simple as possible. Not to mention, customer feedback and the importance of growing awareness of our products and services online via pay per click advertising and social media.
“Having an online presence offers organisations of all shapes and sizes the opportunity to market themselves effectively and grow a successful business.”
