Simon Calver is the CEO of LOVEFiLM, one of Europe's largest online entertainment services since its merger with Video Island in 2006. Calver joined Video Island in 2005 as CEO, overseeing the implementation of the merger, an acquisition of Amazon’s UK and German DVD rental service and sufficient growth to deliver its millionth subscriber and a £70m turnover. Prior to LOVEFiLM, Calver was vice president for PepsiCola UK, where he launched Pepsi Max.
