Following on from their previous book, Wikinomics, the authors remain optimistic that mass collaboration will have positive social and economic impacts. One theory offered is that the primary impact of future technology will be increased collaboration between people. However, a more balanced analysis is required, and while the book is worth reading, readers should be aware that at times Tapscott’s and Williams’ conclusions can be one-sided.
