Claire Mason, founder of the PR consultancy Man Bites Dog and a 2010 Young Gun, has announced her firm’s place in the PRWeek Awards shortlist.

Man Bites Dog has won more accolades than any other business-to-business PR consultancy in the UK and is now a finalist in the Specialist Consultancy of the Year category at the annual awards – but will have to wait until 25th October to find out if it has won.

The consultancy works exclusively with services companies in the professional and financial services, technology and IT services, and property and environment sectors.

Mason already has one PRWeek award in her display cabinet, after Man Bites Dog won the New Consultancy of the Year award at the event in 2007.

She said: “I set up Man Bites Dog because there was a clear gap in the market for a consultancy specialising in PR for the service economy. Six years on and we are still true to our founding specialism in communications for professional and IT services companies.

“We are very proud to be shortlisted for this award as it is testament to the strength of our unique proposition and the outstanding work of the Man Bites Dog team.”
