While many retailers have been scaling back or shutting up shop during the downturn, Joules has significantly increased its retail presence, boosting its store count from 16 in July 2008 to 37 today and the customer base has grown by almost 100% since 2008. Joules has grown sales by an average of 50% annually since 2003.
