School Stickers gains investment

Its products help teachers motivate pupils in their work and also support a range of initiatives such as healthy eating and anti-bullying.
Pupils are encouraged to build credits and enter games on the School Stickers website where they can play games and win prizes.
School Stickers has been backed Bridges Community Ventures (Bridges) which has invested from its Community Development Fund.
The company is located in Nechells, Birmingham, one of the most deprived parts of the UK, and the majority of its staff live in under-invested areas.
More staff will be brought into the company following the investment.
Daniel Laurence said, “This is an extremely exciting time for School Stickers with the launch of our new MyStickers site.
“The additional expertise that Bridge’s bring onboard will help the business achieve its goals.”
Antony Ross, a director at Bridges will join the board as a non-executive director.
He said: “We are delighted to support entrepreneur Daniel Laurence with the growth of School Stickers.
“Based in one of Bridges target areas and reaching schools throughout the UK, School Stickers is an excellent fit for Bridges.”
