Flash sales hotel site co-founded by 2012 Young Gun Tom Valentine has received £8m to fund UK and international growth.
Led by new investor Index Ventures, the funding round includes continued funding from Atlas Venture and Octopus Ventures, which invested in Secret Escapes in 2011.
With 1,000 hotels and suppliers on board so far, Secret Escapes offers over two million members exclusive deals on 4-5 star hotels across the UK and Europe.
Since its January 2011 launch Secret Escapes has witnessed a membership rise of over one million and a revenue growth increase of over 1,400%.
Recently named a Growing Business Young Gun 2012 Tom Valentine, along with co-founders Alex Saint and Troy Collins, plans to use the recent investment to fund further international growth.
