The Brix at St.Matthews
The Brix at St. Matthews is a company with charitable status whose aim is to care for the historic building of St Matthews church. It has been running for over 15 years by a board of trustees and houses various independent groups from the cultural industries including small media arts organisations and charities and does amazing work for its local community all year round. In 2009 it organized an ArtsCrafts Fair and within three months persuaded the most talented jewellery, textile, mosaics and clothes makers in the local area to attend. They designed and produced the Traders Pack in house and were told by many of the exhibitors that they were persuaded to get involved by the quality of this marketing material. Hundreds of posters and flyers also contributed to the success of the fair which has now become an annual event.
