Growing Business is celebrating the talents of 45 young entrepreneurs who have been named as the Young Guns of 2012.
With an average age of 31, the entrepreneurs behind 30 inspiring companies were awarded the title at an awards ceremony held at London’s Kensington Roof Gardens.
The 2012 Young Guns mark the 10th year of the successful awards and join a long list of previously recognised young entrepreneurs including Richard Reed of Innocent Drinks and Thea Green of Nails Inc.
The CEOs, managing directors and co-founders far exceeded the entry requirements of £1m turnover and/or £250,000 worth of funding, boasting an average turnover of £7.1m and £4m worth of investment.
Attended by over 50 successful entrepreneurs, the ceremony also saw Matt ‘Mills’ Miller and John Sinclair of ustwo awarded the overall title of haysmacintyre Top Gun, while alumnus Mayank Patel OBE of Currencies Direct was named Farrer & Co’s Golden Gun.
Recognised for their disruptive companies and impressive growth, the entrepreneurs aged 35 and under represent a variety of sectors across eight different counties, ranging from money transfer services to fertility boosting product creators.
